About Me

I learned to crochet in 2013 and have been passionate about fiber arts ever since. My little Etsy shop started out as a hobby that I used to relieve the stresses of the day. I still love settling into a good movie with my yarn and crochet hook or knitting needles by my side.

I had the idea for Humbleworm when I reflected on the life of a common earthworm. They live their entire lives in darkness, yet manage to thrive while turning garbage into fertile soil. I imagine that they are the most humble creatures on earth!

I take inspiration from things I find especially functional, silly, colorful, or unique. My pattern designs reflect some of my favorite techniques, and I favor simplicity over intricacy. I am happy to customize handmade items and love adding a special flair to made-to-order products.
