Dragon egg dice bags

One of my favorite ways to use up my yarn is by making a dragon egg dice bag. This free pattern is courtesy of Cindy de Vries, and works up so quickly that you can finish one in a day!

Here are some of my finished dice bags:

So colorful 🙂
This bag was made using Caron Simply Soft acrylic yarn in several colors.
I loved this yarn because the color reminded me of a dragon. This was fingering weight yarn I found at a thrift shop for $1 per skein!

I also bought this brown yarn for the same price at the same thrift shop. Great finds!

You can use whatever you like for the drawstring. I decided to use ribbon, and I love how dainty it makes the bag look!

There you have it! A simple, crowd-pleasing pattern that’ll help you work through your growing yarn stash. Enjoy Cindy de Vries’ free pattern!
